Quick Crash Dieting Tips

There can be certain times in your life when you need to lose weight in a speedy fashion. By doing this it is usually only a temporary fix and will likely not keep weight off long term; however it will help you look good on the beach for a holiday or get you fitted into that dress for the ball!
When starting a crash diet it is all about eating lots of healthy food and cutting out on the cakes, doughnuts and chocolate. By eating the correct foods you are reducing your calorie intake however if you are female it is very important that you do not go below 1200 calories a day (1500 for a male) for a long duration as this can become dangerous to your health.
If you want to lose more weight from dieting it is also important that you do not starve yourself as this can have an adverse affect. Without food your body may store fats as a safety precaution and this will have the opposite effect that you are trying to gain. Ideally the best thing to do is to be eat little and often, for example four to six meals a day at 250-300 calories each.
Try and control your portions at meal times and ensure that the food contains all food groups including protein and fats. Keep fat servings to around 20 grams per day and the protein servings to around 3 ounces per meal if possible and you will start to see weight loss quickly.
Crash dieting should last no longer than 2 weeks. If this time is exceeded there is a possibility of suffering from iron deficiencies long term. After two weeks of crash dieting, if you are still not happy with the results and want to lose more weight, you must still increase your calorie intake; however this should be done by eating healthier foods. Your body craves calories and will possibly result in you binge eating! Of course this is to be avoided at all costs as it is clearly not good for your body and will reverse all of your hard work with your diet so far!
If you need further crash dieting tips, why not try a body cleanse with the lemonade detox diet (do a Google search). This flushes away all the horrible built up toxins. Using this diet you can expect to lose a pound a day. The lemonade drink in this diet is home made and contains freshly squeezed lemon juice, organic maple syrup, water, and cayenne pepper. Tasty.
Exercising everyday will also give you a boost to burning off the calories but you must take extra caution when exercising on a crashed diet. Your energy levels will be slightly lower during this time due to the lower calorie intake. Therefore, if you begin to feel dizzy, faint or nauseous through exercising please stop and rest and have a snack. Pushing yourself too much could lead to health problems immediately or in the long term.

After successfully crash dieting, try to avoid going back to your older, less healthy normal eating habits and see if you can stick with the healthier foods you used in your crash diet, especially the fruits, vegetables and lean meats.
